Court Reservation Guidelines Croquet court reservations may be made for the following times: 9:00, 10:30, 12:00, 1:30, 3:00, 4:30, 6:00. During the summer when courts are heavily used, you may reserve only one 1 ½ hour slot per day. However, if you wish to play at the last minute and there is an unreserved court, you may play on that court after checking in at the Golf Shop .If you wish to reserve a court: Call the Golf Shop to make a reservation. Staff will ask you how many people are in your party and who they are. This is for record keeping purposes and to be sure that players who are not sports or golf members are charged for use of the courts. Staff will assign you a court number. If they forget to do so, ask which court you have been assigned If you have reserved a court a day or so ahead of time, call the Golf Shop prior to your scheduled time and "check-in." If you do not do so, staff will assume that you have changed your mind about playing and may assign your court to someone else. This call will also save you a trip to the courts if they have been closed for maintenance. If you are coming to Women’s Wickets or Wednesday Wickets. Courts have been blocked off for these two weekly events, so there is no need to call for a reservation. However, if the weather has been very cold, there is a chance the courts will be closed due to frost and it is good idea to check with the Golf Shop staff before you arrive. Be sure to "check in" with the Golf Shop staff by phone or in person so that they will have an accurate record of who is on the courts If you are in charge of play for a scrambler or tournament. Compile a list of players for your event and turn it in to the staff at the Golf Shop. No player who has not checked in at the Golf Shop should be on the croquet courts . |
